Liquitech D3 descaler is an acidic, superconcentrated solution based on a complex recipe
containing corrosion inhibitors and defoamers. The product is intended exclusively for professionals.
It is used for cleaning thermal installations and heat exchangers in heating systems that have elements of Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Steel, Cast Iron, Copper, Iron. The product successfully removes limescale, rust and sludge deposits without attacking the rubber seals present in the installation.
ATTENTION!: Do not use on elements containing Zinc or Zinc alloys! The product is used together with a cleaning pump.
Step 1: Dose the product in a concentration of 10-20% depending on the degree of dirt present in the installation.
Step 2: Use the cleaning pump to start the chemical washing process of each circuit/heater separately (recommended time: 20 min per radiator/circuit). The descaling process is faster if the water is heated between 40°C – 60°C. It is recommended that the water temperature does not exceed 65°C in order not to damage the components of the cleaning pump.
Step 3: Frequently monitor the pH value of the solution in the flush pump, both with a pH indicator paper and visually. The pH should be < 3 and visually the solution should have a red color. If the color changes from red to yellow-orange or if it completely discolors and there are still deposits in the installation, add new 10% descaler to the pump and continue flushing until the deposits are removed.
Step 4: After descaling, the installation is emptied and rinsed well with water.
Step 5: Charge the cleaning pump with Liquitech Alkaline Neutralizer in 5% concentration and recirculate for 10 min.
Step 6: Rinse the plant with water until pH 7 – 8 is reached.
